Adult Inpatient Program

The adult inpatient program at Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center (LLUBMC) offers inpatient crisis stabilization to patients who are suffering from a behavioral psychiatric condition. The focus of treatment is to stabilize the patient and refer to a lower level of appropriate care. The emphasis of treatment for our patients is to provide the quality and quantity of treatment required to assist both the patient and his or her family to work toward a smooth transition into the community, with the greatest possible degree of appropriate independent functioning.

Program philosophy
The adult inpatient program serves to provide an integrated, structured setting in which crisis stabilization can occur. In keeping with the mission of Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, the adult service program continues the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, "to make man whole" for individuals in need of emotional and behavioral restoration.

Key issues often addressed include:

  • Anger
