How to Apply

To initiate the application process, the following items need to be submitted:

• Application - apply online at our Department of Human Resources Management. (Go to Job Listings, type “Graduate Nurse” into the search box. Be sure to read the job description before applying. The correct open position will specify NICU and Pediatrics in the job description. The department will be listed as CH RN Specialty Services Grant.)
• Current resume (Include with online application.)
• Copy of current CPR/BLS for Health Care Providers issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  
• Specialty area preferences (The form is attached to the online application.) 
  
• Two letters of reference from clinical instructors. One letter may be from an employer (You may email reference letter(s) on letterhead to stamayo@llu.edu.)
• Statement letter (The form is attached to the online application.) 

After all your application materials have been received and reviewed, you will be notified as to whether or not you have been selected for formal interviewing. The number of positions in the program is limited, so we recommend that you apply early. Job offers are contingent upon the applicant clearing the pre-employment health screen and the background check. All applicants must have a California RN license or interim permit (IP) at the time of hire, which is generally one to two weeks before the program begins. Applicants without either of these cannot be hired. Applicants with IPs must have taken their NCLEX prior to three weeks before the start of the residency.
