Mommy and Me Clinic

The Mommy and Me outpatient clinic is available to all moms who need support with feeding their new babies. Our certified Lactation Consultants provide evidence-based education, one-on-one instruction and support.

We offer lactation consultations, comprehensive follow-up visits and telephone advice for mothers with concerns about breastfeeding. Our certified Lactation Consultants also communicate with the family’s doctors and other key healthcare personnel to assure continuity of care and advice.

What to Expect

During a typical visit the Lactation Consultant will:
•    Obtain the baby’s weight
•    Observe mom and baby for a feeding session
•    Answer the family’s questions 
•    Offer possible solutions for any feeding problems
•    Suggest other resources
•    Work with mom to develop a plan that meets her breastfeeding goals

Clinic Hours & Appointments

Mommy and Me Clinic hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Appointments can be made by calling our message line, 558-MAMA or 558-6262. Moms are also encouraged to leave a message if they have other feeding concerns or questions, and a Lactation Consultant will return their call later the same day.
