Pregnancy and Newborn Research
Our healthcare providers conduct research that aims to improve the health of mothers and babies in our region and worldwide. We appreciate the contribution that our patients make toward this goal by participating in our research projects.
Current Research Projects
We invite our patients to participate in the following research projects:
- Oxidative stress, DNA methylation, gene endothelial biology, and gene expression in the human placenta
- Accuracy of sonographic fetal biometry measurement
- Is the nutritional content of expressed breastmilk influenced by the food ingested one hour prior to pumping
- Characterization in Vitamin D status and metabolism in pre-eclampsia
