Who we are
Sometimes it is difficult to decide what level of care your frail or disabled loved one needs. It is helpful to talk to a caring and experienced adult day services professional who is experienced in all aspects of adult care.
Our goal at the Loma Linda University Medical Center adult day services program is to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life for those we serve through a caring, stimulating, therapeutic, and enjoyable environment. We offer comprehensive health care, rehabilitative therapies, and social services for frail or disabled people age 18 and over.

Hours
Our center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A participant may attend one to five days a week, depending on need and insurance coverage.
Who we serve
The Center serves cities in the east valley including Fontana, Redlands, Rialto, Grand Terrace, Colton, Bloomington, Yucaipa, Loma Linda, Highland, the City of San Bernardino and parts of the City of Riverside. This region contains most of the industry, government agencies, educational and recreational facilities, much of the trade, and most of the services available to seniors.

Our services are provided by a team of professionals experienced in caring for frail, elderly, and functionally impaired adults.

Adult day care services
The adult day care service program is for frail and disabled adults of any age who have difficulty taking care of themselves at home but wish to maintain their independence. Those in the program interact with staff and other participants in a friendly environment, engage in recreational activities, and receive a hot meal at noon.Adult day health care / Community based adult services
The adult day health care program is a low-cost, organized day program of therapeutic health, social, and recreational services for adults with physical and mental disabilities. The goal is to assist in restoring or maintaining, to the fullest extent, the individual's capacity for self care while under the direct supervision of professional staff. Those in the program will also receive a hot meal at noon.Range of services
An individual plan of care may include any of the following services:- Staff's consultation with personal physicians in developing each person's plan of care
- Skilled nursing care and health education
- Rehabilitation services from licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists
- Personal care and supervision, providing respite for care givers.
- Social services
- Recreational therapy
- Hot noon meals and nutritional counseling
- Arrangements for the transportation to and from the Center
- Interaction with highly trained professional staff, bilingual in English, Tagalog, and Spanish
Program eligibility & cost
For program eligibility, cost, and to learn insurance coverage, please call Adult Day Health Services at 909-558-6198.Individuals, their family, and friends are welcome to call us. We also accept referrals from physicians, nurses, hospital discharge planners, and social workers.
Program participants must provide complete health history and physical filled out and signed by his or her physician.
