LLUMC Rehabilitation Residency - Application and Selection

Resident Appointment

The residency program has two separate tracks, one based at LLUMC, and one based at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center (RLANRC).  Residents are appointed to either one of these two tracks, and although the program is integrated, the appointment process and clinical rotations differ between the two sites.

1) LLUMC – Four positions are offered each year through ERAS, at the PGY1 level, for an integrated 4-year program.  Most of the clinical training will be at LLUMC, with one or two rotations at RLANRC.

2) RLANRC – Residents are appointed at the PGY2 level, outside of the Intern Match, for a 3-year program in PM&R.  Training will consist of two years at RLANRC and once year at LLUMC.
