Outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation
Orthopaedic rehabilitation specializes in working with patients who have had injuries or surgeries related to joints or bones. The therapists working with these patients have special training in working with orthopaedic and sports-related injuries.
Therapies may include but are not limited to:
- Therapeutic and isokinetic exercise
- Tissue manipulation and massage
- Neurologic re-education
- Joint mobilization
- Muscle & electrical stimulation
- Heat & cold
- Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulator (T.E.N.S)
- Work reconditioning
- Cold laser therapy
A physician prescription may be dropped off at our office or faxed using the information below. Once the prescription is received, our referral coordinators will request financial clearance from your insurance company and will call you as soon as possible to schedule your appointment.
Medi-Cal patients require a Treatment Authorization Request (TAR) that is sent to the Medi-Cal office for authorization. This process may take a few weeks. Once the authorization has been received from Medi-Cal, we will call you to set up an appointment.
Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. to accommodate patients and family members who need appointments before or after work, school, or during a lunch hour.
