Allergies: Personal stories

Allergies play a huge part in some people's lives. Between identifying allergies, relieving symptoms, and avoiding allergens, it can feel like a full-time job. Read the personal accounts of people with allergies. Some people have known all their lives that they had allergies. For others, they needed patience and hard work to figure out the causes of their symptoms. These people have thoughtfully described their stories in the hope that their experiences will help others improve their own personal health.

Susan, 53: I baffled doctors with my symptoms...

Sam, 29: My wife and I are both "allergic" people...

Wayne, 50: My father's allergies saved his life...

Penny, 35: People think allergy shots are great ...
