The four pairs of sinuses include the:
- frontal sinuses (highlighted in red)
- maxillary sinuses (highlighted in blue)
- ethmoid sinuses (highlighted in yellow)
- sphenoid sinuses (highlighted in orange)
The sinuses moisten and warm air that is filtered by the nose and play a role in voice resonation.
