From the onset of menstruation through menopause, women require specialized care that nurtures their reproductive health. In addition to conducting well woman examinations, our physicians can address pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding and uterine fibroids. They offer multiple minimally invasive treatment options including endometrial ablation, uterine artery embolization (UAE) laparoscopic surgery, and da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.  Our physicians also offer the latest in menopausal management, including natural hormone replacement and a comprehensive wellness program. If your symptoms require major surgery, we offer total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and the area's only robotic-assisted hysterectomy.  Both options generally require only an overnight stay, and allow return to normal activities in about 1-2 weeks. LLUMC also offers specialty care for pelvic floor disorders through the Female Pelvic Medicine Program.
