ThankSharing 2014 Concert and Food Drive
Giving back to our community is something that Loma Linda University Medical Center values highly. Join us for our 7th Annual ThankSharing Concert and Food Drive at The Packinghouse in Redlands on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 7:00 pm. Doorswill open at 6:00 pm. Free Admission with non-perishable food donation.
Nichole Nordeman, was raised in Colorado Springs, CO. She got her start in the music world when she entered a Gospel Music Association (GMA) contest in Los Angeles, California and was noticed by a record executive. She has won multiple GMA Dove Awards, including two awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Her best-known songs include "Holy", "Legacy", "Brave", and "What If". In 2011, Nichole co-wrote 17 songs written from the first person perspective of Biblical characters in a collection titled Music Inspired by The Story, and recorded by who's who cast of today's top Christian music artists. Nichole is also a recently published author with a new book entitled, Love Story. Her book explores the pivotal moments of the most beloved and iconic people in Scripture, revealing their most human side, and exploring how their stories intersect with her own faith journey. Roxie Jane, is a Southern California pop singer/song writer. With the release of her debut pop album, "Chick Flair," Roxie Jane is establishing herself as an artist to watch. Her music has been described as, "catchy and meaningful in a pop wrapper." Roxie Jane teamed up with famed producer, Colby Wedgeworth (The Maine) for her "Chick Flair" release.
Since the album release, Roxie has been performing pre-game concerts as an exclusive artists for Minor League Baseball at the various stadiums throughout California on her portable stage called "The Wedge." as well as music festivals, corporate events, and community concerts. roxiejanemusic.com
Khari Washington, has been playing the saxophone since he was 10 and comes from a family known for their musical gifts. His music has been heard all over the United States. A life-long lover of music he believes music is a gift from God. He considers it an honor and a privilege to share the message of Christ’s love through his music. It is his hope that although words are not spoken you will clearly hear the profound message of God’s love, grace and joy.
Throughout the years, KAY-C has grown to 35 plus active members. Since its inception, the choir has performed for church audiences, concerts, outdoor festivals and continues to minister across Southern California.KAY-C leadership has changed over the years and is currently under the direction of Gian Dudley-Simmons. The choir continues to grow and receive overwhelming recognition throughout Southern California for their discipline, unity, and commitment to their ministry.God has truly blessed this choir and we continue to wait in expectation for what He has in store.

Where will your food donations go?
Each year on Thanksgiving morning, a group of Calvary Chapel churches and local businesses come together to provide a Thanksgiving Event for San Bernardino residents who are in need. In addition to providing a meal, haircuts, healthcare, bike repair, games and Bible study, the organizers put together food baskets to give to the 1,000 people who attend.
UReach is an outreach ministry in Loma Linda that has partnered with a number of area churches and an organization called KEYS (Knowledge, Education for Your Success) in San Bernardino to help families in need. Food baskets will be delivered to hundreds of families who are adjusting to living in safe, affordable housing. Deliveries will take place on November 22.
