Loma Linda University Health's ThankSharing 2013 was a Beautiful Success:
Thank you to all attendees and participants of the sixth annual ThankSharing program for making the 2013 event a lovely evening.
The event, an annual concert tradition hosted by Loma Linda University Health, attracted more than 400 attendees.
Approximately 1,000 non-perishable food items were donated by concert goers in support of providing food to local food banks in the community. More than one ton of food was also donated by the Loma Linda University campus community leading up to the event in November.
ThankSharing is known for an exceptional musical lineup featuring talented individuals, groups and choirs from local schools and churches. This year, attendees were treated to special musical performances by a variety of local musicians, including Sarah Horn and FOCUS.
“ThankSharing has become a beloved tradition here at Loma Linda because it is an event that allows us to reflect as a community on all of God’s blessings and His presence in our lives,” said Ruthita Fike, CEO of Loma Linda University Medical Center, who welcomed participants to ThankSharing.
