Our clinicians and faculty are leaders in conducting original research in emergency medicine, prehospital care, and disaster management. Our in-house experts are widely published on the topics of envenomation, mass gathering and event medicine, hospital surge capacity, and the application of telemedicine in prehospital care and disaster management.
The Center also manages multiple grant projects in emergency and disaster related areas, including the DISCOVERIES and CURE Center Projects. These projects are defining the cutting edge of the application of technology in prehospital resource management, telemedicine, and hospital surge capacity.
