Adult IV Skills

This two-hour workshop is designed for the clinician who desires to review issues related to adult IV therapy. It will provide the participant with an opportunity to practice adult IV insertion in a non-threatening environment. The workshop will offer both lecture and hands-on experience on the a mannequin. Key content includes IV insertion techniques and IV maintenance tips. No certification is implied. Professionals are subject to the IV policies and protocol of their employing institution.

LLUMC employees - no charge
($20.00 refundable deposit required at time of registration)

Prerequisites/special instructions: This course is not intended to be an IV certification course.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is canceled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
