Adult Physical Assessment

This one-day class is designed for the health-care provider who wants to improve his/her skill and efficiency in performing patient systems assessment. The class objective is for the health-care provider to complete a thorough head-to-toe assessment in ten minutes. System-targeted assessment and nursing diagnosis concepts are also included. This class is recommended for any health-care professional who has knowledge of adult anatomy and physiology and who participates in patient care.

Class limit: Class size is limited. Early registration is recommended.

 

Prerequisites/special instructions:
Health professionals should have successfully completed adult anatomy and physiology. Study material is sent to attendees prior to class and must be memorized before course attendance.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is canceled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
