Basic Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring

Baby diagramThis two-day class provides the MD, RN, or LVN with the skills to assess and document fetal status and to be knowledgeable about the nursing interventions appropriate for the fetal status. In addition, assessment of fetal acid-base status is included. FHR patterns are discussed in both the antepartum and intrapartum setting.

Prerequisites/special instructions: A study guide information sheet will be mailed prior to class. A course syllabus will be provided on the first day of class. If an additional resource is desired the following guidebook is recommended: Mosby's Pocket Guide Series: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment (5th Edition) by Susan Tucker

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
