De-escalating Workplace Aggression (MAB)

Have you ever felt threatened in your work place? Do you know how to identify and de-escalate potentially threatening and hostile situations? This four-hour class will focus on methods of de-escalating workplace aggression in the health-care setting. The primary topics will be the Milieu, Assault Cycle, Early Identification of Risk for Violence, and When All Else Fails--Restraint Guidelines

Target Audience: All health-care employees with an emphasis on security officers and all staff working in the emergency department.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
