Essentials of Program Presentation and Design
Have you been asked to give lectures in the area of your expertise? Do you prepare outlines and develop AV aids for your talks? Are you boggled with the CE application process? Do you struggle to write course descriptions and objectives? Do you write test questions and evaluations for your content? Would you like to improve your speaking skill? Are you uncomfortable with choosing the right teaching methods and learning evaluations? If so, you will benefit from this two-day, hands-on workshop. Content will focus on the following elements:
- Developing, designing and delivering a topic
- Developing your own personal style of speaking
- Effetive audio-visual techniques and handouts
- Needs assessment skills, CEU application, brochure development, advertising, testing and evaluation

Cancellation/refund/no show policy (Staff Development classes only)
A $20 administrative fee will be charged for cancellation up to five business days prior to class or if participant does not show for class. In the event the program is canceled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
