Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Internship

This comprehensive internship is designed to prepare the nurse to care for the high-risk neonate. The latest information on neonatal pathophysiologic processes and clinical nursing management will be presented. A five-day preceptorship directed toward skill acquisition and management is included.

Target Audience: Neonatal/perinatal nurses

Day/date: Five, 8-hour clinical days to be arranged with the instructor/coordinator.

2300 - 0730

Location: LLUMC/3rd Floor/Unit 3700, NICU

CE Credit:
13.0 contact hours (ANCC)(BRN)
(One hour for each three clinical hours)

Class Fee: $500.00

Class Limit: None

Prerequisites/special instructions: Completion of neonatal intensive care nursing class series

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
