Chemotherapy for NonMalignant Disease

This course is designed to prepare the adult and pediatric healthcare professsional working on non-cancer units to administer chemotherapy for non-malignant diseases.  As chemotherapeutic medications become available for other disease processes, it is neccessary for the staff to be equipped with the proper knowledge of various drug therapies for non-malignant disease, common disease processes, safe use and safe handeling of the medications.  the guidelines presented in this course are based on LLUMC specific protocals and the Oncology Nursing Society's Cancer Chemotherapy Guidlines and Recommendations for practice.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
