Pediatric IV Skills
This workshop is designed for clinicians who wish to review issues related to infant, child and adolescent intravenous catheter insertion. Key content to be covered will include pediatric IV insertion with an over-the-needle catheter unit, pain management during venipuncture, IV maintenance tips, and review of IV complications and management.

Prerequisites/special instructions: Preregistration is required at least one week before class. This class is not intended to be an IV certification course.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class. In the event the program is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refundable reservation deposits will be returned upon class attendance.
