This four-hour class is designed to provide personnel and staff nurses from pediatric care areas with a review of protocols and skills used in code situations. The class offers, lecture and "hands-on" experience in the following: (1) pediatric code pharmacology, (2) pediatric code simulation, (3) pediatric airway management, and (4) pediatric defibrillator and code cart, and (5) NICU Code Cart.
Target audience: All health-care professionals who interact with pediatric patients.
