This two-day class will introduce attendees to the philosophy of continual improvement, team skills, and statistical thinking. Topics discussed include modern quality improvement principles, 6-sigma systematic method of improving processes, importance of customer knowledge, process focus, and thinking in daily work. Additional discussion will be given to the implications of an organization-wide transformation to continual improvement, methods to foster effective teamwork, and strategies for managing critical group processes.
