This one-day program is designed to assist the health-care professional with recall of information and organization of care in the pre-transport, transfer, and/or post resuscitation period of the newborn infant. The mnemonic S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for Sugar, Temperature, Assisted breathing, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support to family. The S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Program involves a myriad of stabilization activities that will enhance the health-care professional's performance in caring for the sick newborn or premature infant.

Prerequisites/special instructions: Current Neonatal Resuscitation Basic Provider card advised but not necessary. A pretest must be completed prior to taking this class. The pretest will be mailed with confirmation letter. Continental breakfast included. Lunch on your own.

Cancellation, No Show, Refund Policy:
No refund if Staff Development does not receive cancellation notification at least five (5) working days prior to class. No refund will be provided if participant does not show up for class.
