Take 10E Freeway to Anderson Street cut off.
  If coming from the W, turn left at the end of the off ramp.
  If coming form the E, turn right at the end of the off ramp.
Head south on Anderson Street (away from mountians & freeway).
Turn right onto Stewart Street and follow through Loma Linda University Campus.
Turn right onto Campus Street until lot X appears at your right.
 
   

Program Description

 

The purpose of the Kidney Disease Awareness & Education Conference is to provide information about best practice for dialysis patients within rigorous financial and reimbursement constraints as proposed in the CMS regulations.

At the end of this conference, the participant will be able to:

  • discuss the proposed CMS regulations regarding bundled reimbursement and prospective payment system.
  • describe the psychosocial impact on the patient and their families.
  • identify modalities of dialysis (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy).
  • describe the care and management of the pediatric nephrology patient.
  • describe the care and managment of a renal transplant patient.

Nurses, physicians, all healthcare professionals, and local legislators.
