LLUMC is the only Level 1 Regional Trauma Center in the Inland Empire nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) for Inyo, Mono, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. At the Proton Treatment Center, physicians are empowered to treat cancer patients while greatly reducing the effect of related health concerns. Proton therapy represents the most precise form of advanced radiation treatment available for certain cancers and other diseases, yet it minimizes or alleviates harm to surrounding tissues.
The Cancer Center combines the latest technology of three different areas of oncology--surgical, medical, and radiation--with the abilities of specialists in these fields to create an integrated program for the control and eradication of cancer.
Loma Linda's International Heart Institute provides programs for patients with all types of cardiac problems and defects. An international leader in the area of transplantation, Loma Linda's heart program serves patients from all over the world.
The Children's Hospital combines many children's services under one roof. Loma Linda's pediatricians and pediatric support personnel are dedicated to providing excellent care for all children.
