C. JobeDr. Jobe earned his medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Hospital, he completed fellowships in internal fixation at Burgerspital der Stadt Solothurn in Switzerland and in sports medicine at Kerlin & Jobe Orthopaedic Medical Group in Inglewood. 

Dr. Jobe is an internationally renowned lecturer on conditions of the shoulder, including shoulder replacement. He is one of the few surgeons in California that has a major emphasis in shoulder replacement. In addition, he is the medical director for several local professional sports teams. 

Dr. Jobe is a professor and the director of the residency program in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Loma Linda University. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Orthopaedic Research Society.
