It’s hard to lose a pet that you have come to love. Our pets are a part of the family and when they die, it hurts deeply.


 

Coping with the loss of a pet

The bonds we share with our pet are sometimes more enduring than friendships with people. For many the death of a pet is a very difficult process.
    Have you lost a pet recently?
    Are you hurt deeply by the death of your pet?
    Do you have the support you need?

    Gives adults tools to help their children with pet loss

What to Expect?

    Explanations of how grief affects us
    Made up short videos, worksheets and take home writing assignments
    Offers opportunity to share, discuss with others and ask questions
 

The pet grief support group is a specialized group providing insight and support.
New groups begin the first Tuesday of January, April, July, and October from 7:00 to 8:30pm for seven consecutive weeks.
