Advances in diabetes management and implications for healthcare providers and their patients.
Target audience:
All healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with diabetes including, but not limited to, registered dietitians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and students.
Overall program objectives:
- Describe the advances of diabetes management and its implications
- Describe the latest diabetes nutrition guidelines
- Describe the physiological response to exercise in the patient September 14, 2007nt interactions between diabetic prescription drugs and dietary supplements

Cancellation policy:
A $20 administrative fee will be
charged for cancellations after 10/28/04 or failure to attend the conference.
If the seminar is cancelled, a full refund will be given.
Continuing education credit:
- Loma Linda University Medical Center, Staff Development is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #00239 for 4.0 contact hours.
- Loma Linda University Medical Center, Staff Development is a Continuing Professional Education Accredited Provider with the Commission Dietetic Registration. Registered dieticians and dietetic technicians, registered will receive 4.0 continuing professional education units for completion of this program.
- This course has been designated by the California Board of Pharmacy as meeting its CE requirements for 4.0 hours of credit. Pharmacists completing this course prior to 11/04 may receive credit. Provider number 180: accredited by AES
