Thank you for you interest regarding the department of otolaryngology - head and neck surgery residency training program. The program is five years in duration (including one year of internship) offering wide exposure in head and neck ablative, otoneurological surgery, plastic surgery, sinus surgery, and routine ENT procedures. In addition, participation in basic and clinical research is required. The hospitals involved in the training program are: Riverside County Regional Medical Center, Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center, and Loma Linda University Medical Center.
We participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and are accepting applications through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for the match. We do not require any additional data other than what is required by ERAS. Letters of recommendation are limited to four, with at least two in an otolaryngology discipline. Information regarding ERAS procedures is available from the dean?s office of each medical school through ERAS.
The application deadline for Otolaryngology Surgery is mid November. The interview process is two days, each taking place on a Tuesday. If you have been granted an interview, you will be notified on or after the end of November via e-mail, if available, and a hard copy letter mailed shortly after.
