Department of Neurology

Neurological disorders affect the body’s nervous system, which consists of the brain, spinal cord and nerves. The nervous system is critical because it controls all of the body’s workings. Neurological disorders can have a profound impact on daily life because they affect everything from movement and speech to emotional well-being.

Loma Linda University Medical Center’s Department of Neurology uses a collaborative, integrated approach to provide complete care for nervous system disorders in adults and children. In order to create treatment plans specific to a patient’s needs, our neurologists collaborate with specialists from other departments such as neurosurgery, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pulmonary medicine and pain management.

The Department treats all forms of neurological conditions and specializes in:

•    Dizziness
•    Epilepsy
