Foot and Ankle
The feet and ankles are the most frequently injured areas of the body and affect people at all stages of life. While some foot disorders can be inherited, many injuries and ailments are a result of abuse and neglect such as wearing improper footwear. When patients experience a foot or ankle problem, their mobility can suffer. The Department of Orthopedic Surgery looks beyond the complications of an injured foot or ankle, focusing on our patients’ overall health.
With extensive training in the surgical and nonsurgical care of foot and ankle problems, our orthopedic specialists provide patients with comprehensive diagnostic treatment and rehabilitation services. They apply a patient-centered approach to develop the best individual care plans. This allows patients to resume their everyday activities with support, function and stability.
