Senior Elective- Pediatric Emergency Medicine

This two or four-week elective is offered annually between the months of August and November. The senior medical student will be assigned clinical shifts in the pediatric emergency division in the management of acutely ill and injured children.The student will work closely with pediatric emergency physicians providing patient care.Directed readings on pediatric emergency medicine topics and didactic lectures will be offered during this rotation.
