Meet Our Faculty And Staff

	William Murdoch, MD Interim Chair of the Department of Psychiatry Dr. Murdoch is the Medical Director of the Loma Linda Behavioral Medicine Center, Head of the BMC Children's Unit, and heads the outpatient child/adolescent clinic.
	Mary Ann Schaepper, MD, MEd Program Director Dr. Schaepper is the director of general psychiatry residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and medical director of the adolescent psychiatry inpatient unit and partial hospital. She received her MD at Loma Linda University, and completed a fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA. Her research is in child/adolescent system of care issues, adolescent addictions and first break psychosis. She is an active member of the Red Cross mental health disaster team and participates in facilitating psychiatric residents in responding to local, national and international disasters.
	Amy Sorensen Program Coordinator Amy joins the Psychiatry Department this year as the residency program coordinator. She is the "go-to" person for all the residents and applicants with questions and administrative needs. Efficient, extremely capable, and friendly, Amy is a vital member of the psychiatry department team who keeps the residency program running smoothly.
