Spine Center

The spine supports the body and protects your spinal cord from injury. A spine injury, strain or deformity can not only impede movement, but it can cause pain and impact even the simple things you do, from walking to even sitting or stretching.

The complexity of the spine, and the crucial role it plays in the body, underscores the importance of effectively diagnosing and treating any spinal disorders or injuries.

The Spine Center at Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) utilizes a collaborative approach to provide care that addresses a patient’s total needs – from physical to emotional.
Our multidisciplinary team approach draws upon the expertise of specialists in neck and back problems, physicians, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists and other highly skilled spine care professionals. Together, the Spine Center team develops a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for each patient.

This teamwork, combined with the Center’s specialty in minimally invasive procedures provides our patients with a variety of paths to healing and ensures that all the needs of our spinal patients are considered.

Ensuring an accurate diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. The Spine Center offers diagnostic studies and evaluation procedures to accurately identify the treatment that best suits your specific needs. Our procedures include:
