Okechukwu "OK" Ojogho, MD, joined Loma Linda University Medical Center as assistant professor of surgery and director of adult and pediatric kidney / pancreas transplant surgery. He is also associate director of liver transplant surgery.
Dr. Ojogho is a graduate of the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at The University of Chicago, and a transplant surgery fellowship at Stanford University under Dr. Donald C. Dafoe and Dr. Carlos O. Esquivel.
Dr. Ojogho is certified by the American Board of Surgery and he is an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of several scientific societies including the American Society of Transplant Physicians and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He has published several articles and book chapters related to the topic of transplantation.
Dr. Ojogho's research interests include pediatric renal transplantation, clinical immunosuppression, and the understanding of chronic allograft rejection.
