Siegmund Teichman, MD

Siegmund Teichman, MD, has been an employee of Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) for the past 20 years. He attended medical school and served both his internship and residency at LLUMC. He completed his fellowship at Walter Reed General Hospital (an Army Institute in Washington D.C.) where he obtained the rank of major.

In 1973, Dr. Teichman became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and, in 1974, certified in the subspecialty of nephrology. He moved back to California in 1977 and began his practice at LLUMC, where he resides as chief of the adult nephrology division.

As principle investigator and co-author on manuscripts relating to his subspecialty, he has been published in prestigious medical journals throughout the nation. During his career at LLUMC, he has served as a member of numerous regional and local society committees and has held many titles of office.
