Resident Life
The residents at our program are a close and supportive group. We hike, dine, go to concerts, and study together. It's not uncommon to spot the residents at the peak of Mt. Whitney, trekking through the Grand Canyon, or just hanging out together after a long day of work. Weekends often involve getting our families together for a BBQ or grabbing a pizza and watching the game. We find lots of reasons to celebrate including birthdays, baby showers, weddings, even go-karting with our future residents during interview season. More formal annual traditions include resident graduation which is an intimate affair held at the home of our program director or other faculty. We consider the relationships among the residents to be one of the greatest strengths of the Loma Linda University Urology program experience.
