Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Loma Linda University Behavioral Health Institute Outpatient Pavilion set for Tuesday, July 8, 2008

Officials from Loma Linda University and the LLU Behavioral Medicine Center (BMC) broke ground on a new Behavioral Health Institute Outpatient Pavilion on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 1686 Barton Road in Redlands.

The 46,000-square foot Pavilion-which is schedule for completion in the fall of 2009-will integrate academic, research, and clinical practice areas and will expand the Center's ability to offer innovative counseling and family services, psychiatry, psychology, social work and social ecology together in one convenient location. Services offered to the community at the new Pavilion will include therapy for families, couples and individuals of all ages, partial and intensive outpatient programs for youth and adults, psychological testing and other behavioral health resources.

Although the building project is currently being referred to as the Loma Linda University Behavioral Health Institute Outpatient Pavilion, the University is grateful for the community support it receives as a non-profit entity, and naming opportunities are available. Individuals interested in naming all or part of the new Pavilion should contact the office of philanthropy at (909) 558-3554.
