Internal Medicine Residency Program - Loma Linda University Medical Center
Daniel I. Kim, MD Welcome to the Loma Linda University Internal Medicine Residency Program website. Our program has a long tradition of producing excellent physicians who practice "whole person care." As the new program director, I am excited at the prospects of the upcoming year. My goal is to build on an already excellent program in the areas of education, research and career development. Our training program will help you achieve your career goals whether it is in hospital-based medicine, primary care medicine, academic medicine or fellowship in a specialty. Our faculty is friendly, approachable and dedicated to helping you achieve success in medicine and life.

Our program offers the unique opportunity to practice in three diverse settings which include a University Medical Center, a Veteran Hospital, and a County Medical Center. Our residents feel that the opportunity to practice at three different hospitals is a highlight and offers a broad and rich experience. I feel that the diversity of clinical sites is one of our greatest strengths as no other program in California offers this opportunity.

I hope that you enjoy a visit to Loma Linda University Medical Center and come see all we have to offer.

Daniel I. Kim
Program director
