Rotation Schedules *
Categorical PGY- 1
- 5 months general medicine ward service
- 1 month Coronary Care Unit
- 1 month ICU (no overnight call)
- 1 month Geriatrics
- 1 month of ambulatory outpatient medicine in primary care, subspecialty, or non-medicine specialties including dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, etc.
- 1 month Selective rotation in sub-specialty
- 1 month of Elective
**Preliminary Year Residents do general medicine ward instead of Geriatrics.
Categorical PGY- 2
- 4 months general medicine ward service
- 2 months ICU
- 1 to 2 months of Coronary Care Unit
- 2 months ambulatory outpatient medicine
- 1 month Selective rotation in sub-specialty
- 1 month Elective
Categorical PGY- 3
- 2 - 3 months general medicine ward service
- 0 - 1 month ICU or 1 month Coronary Care Unit
- 2 months ambulatory outpatient medicine
- 1 month medicine consultation service/night float
- 1 month ER
- 2 months Selective rotation in sub-specialty
- 1 month Elective
