Rotation Schedules *

Categorical PGY- 1

• 5 months general medicine ward service
• 1 month Coronary Care Unit
• 1 month ICU (no overnight call)
• 1 month Geriatrics
• 1 month of ambulatory outpatient medicine in primary care, subspecialty, or non-medicine specialties including dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, etc.
• 1 month Selective rotation in sub-specialty
• 1 month of Elective
  

**Preliminary Year Residents do general medicine ward instead of Geriatrics.

Categorical PGY- 2

• 4 months general medicine ward service
• 2 months ICU
• 1 to 2 months of Coronary Care Unit
• 2 months ambulatory outpatient medicine
• 1 month Selective rotation in sub-specialty
• 1 month Elective

Categorical PGY- 3

• 2 - 3 months general medicine ward service
• 0 - 1 month ICU or 1 month Coronary Care Unit
• 2 months ambulatory outpatient medicine
• 1 month medicine consultation service/night float
• 1 month ER
• 2 months Selective rotation in sub-specialty
• 1 month Elective
